Where I lost myself,
and found a home.

’The Island’ is a collection of photographs taken in Siargao, a south-east island of the Philippines.

I have been visiting and collecting photographs from there—in digital and B&W film—since 2015. My main focus has always been on the people, way of life, and landscape.

The two sets I uploaded on my portfolio are by no means finished, but serve as focus point for me to move towards (or perhaps even away).

And so, the exploration continues.
